Ruth Bancroft Gardens is the first garden in America to be conserved by The Garden Conservancy. Mrs. Bancroft gardened well into her nineties, and though she died at age 109, her legacy lives on today with people from all over coming to marvel at this splendid place of flowers that continue blooming for many years even after being created decades ago!

Ygnacio Valley High School is a public secondary school in Concord, California that serves students from nearby Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill. The original building opened its doors to the first graduating senior class of 1964 after serving as a temporary facility for more than 1,500 students enrolled in grades 9 through 12.

Since March 22, 2017, Ygnacio Valley High School has been a well-known IB World school. The International Baccalaureate program is offered at this school and it’s the only one in Mount Diablo Unified School District, which is also known as MUSD. Spanish Honors/AP classes are available to students who want an accelerated experience where they can study their home languages while learning about other cultures around them through films or books.
