About Clayton, California

Clayton is a city in Contra Costa County, California. The population was 10,897 at the 2010 census – that’s enough to make this little town one of our smaller cities. A great place for those who love nature and want an easy commute out into some stunning views of San Francisco Bay Area attractions like wine country.

Clayton grew during the era of coal mining in eastern Contra Costa County. The United States Postal Service opened a post office in 1861. In order to prevent an annexation attempt by Concord in 1963, Clayton was incorporated in 1964.

Clayton’s land area increased dramatically during the 1980s and 1990s as its original boundaries were pushed out to the east and west, with the annexations of the Dana Hills/Dana Ridge and Clayton Wood subdivisions, as well as the former Keller Ranch property that was developed during the 1990s with Oakhurst Country Club.

If you’re looking for a Catholic church in the Concord area, St. Bonaventure is an excellent choice! They have a casual and welcoming atmosphere that will make your visitors feel at home. The priests are very friendly people with whom it’s easy to converse- they can answer all of those burning questions about Catholicism or give guidance during difficult times while still being approachable enough where someone could ask them anything at any time without feeling too embarrassed about doing so because these men want nothing more than peace about their congregation. The church has a wide variety of services and ministries on Sundays as well as throughout the week so there’s bound to be something that interests you no matter what your spiritual background may be. If you’re looking for a place to call home, St. Bonaventure is definitely worth checking out!

Located in Walnut Creek, CA, the Islamic Center of Walnut Creek is a mosque that serves as a place for worship and socialization. The center provides many programs to help Muslims better understand their faith. They also have an extensive children’s program called “Loving Islam” where they teach Muslim kids about what it means to be Muslim. Their goal is to make sure every kid has a safe space to learn about their religion while at the same time maintaining cultural identity.

The Islamic Center of Walnut Creek was founded in 1996 by Dr. Muzammil H Siddiqi who wanted there to be a place for Muslims in the East Bay Area that would not only serve as a house of worship but would also provide educational opportunities and social activities. The center has since played a vital role in the Muslim community of Walnut Creek and the surrounding areas.

The Islamic Center of Walnut Creek is open to everyone who wants to learn more about Islam. They offer many different programs for both adults and children, all of which are designed to help people better understand the faith.
